White Goods: Metal Items
The term "White Goods" refers to METAL items such as: stoves, fridges, freezers, air conditioners, swing sets, dehumidifiers, washers, dryers, hot water tanks, metal sinks, microwaves, and various other metal items.

A White Goods collection service is provided for residents in your municipality. Please call your municipal office to arrange for a white goods collection. Remember to place your white goods out for collection the night prior to your assigned collection day. Please remove doors to ensure the safety of small children.

Effective March 1, 2010 the disposal fee is $15 per item with a compressor on White Goods containing CFCs (chloroflurocarbon), a known ozone depleting chemical. The following appliances are subject to the $15 fee unless it carries a tag noting that CFCs have been removed:Protect our earth. Don't release CFCs into the environment, they harm the ozone.

    • Air Conditioners
    • Dehumidifiers
    • Water Coolers
    • Compressors

Your White Goods Collection for the following municipalities is scheduled ONCE per month, call to book your pickup:

  • LaSalle, (519) 969-7770, Collection: 3rd Thursday
  • Leamington, (519) 322-2346, Collection: 3rd Tuesday
