June 1, 2020: All plastic bags are banned from recycling boxes/carts. If your recycling contains plastic bags of any type – your recycling will NOT be collected. Even plastic bags with a recycling symbol (loop) are banned.

This ban applies to Windsor/Essex County: single family homes, townhouses, condos, apartment buildings, businesses, institutions and industry. Where you live, work and play!
